Special Lectures at Medical School

Beginning next Thursday a course of six weekly lectures on "Tumors" will be given at the Medical School on Long-wood avenue under the auspices of the Cancer Commission of Harvard University. These lectures, which will be given by prominent members of the medical profession, are designed for physicians and students of the Medical School, but will be open also to all members of the University.

The lectures will be given at 5 o'clock on successive Thursday afternoons in the amphitheatre of Building D. The dates and titles are as follows:

February 4-"The Bearing of the Experimental Investigation of Tumors on the Tumor Problem in General," by Dr. E. E. Tyzzer, M. '02, of Boston.

February 11-"The Regulatory Processes of Tumor Cells," by Dr. W. T. Howard, of Cleveland, Ohio.

February 18-"The Classification of Tumors," by Dr. F. B. Mallory '86, of Boston.

February 25-"The Physiological Pathology of Intracranial Tumors," by Dr. Harvey Cushing, of Baltimore, Md.

March 4-"The Etiology of Tumors considered from our Knowledge of Congenital Tumors and Tumors following Repeated Injury," by Dr. S. B. Wolback, M. '03, of Albany, N. Y.

March 11-"The Problem of Cancer considered from the Standpoint of Immunity," by Dr. F. P. Gay, of Boston.
