Rhodes Examinations Today

The qualifying examinations for the selection of a Rhodes Scholar from Massachusetts, for the term of three years beginning next October, will be concluded today at the Harvard Medical School, Longwood avenue, Boston. This year any candidate who passes in Latin and Mathematics may be eligible even though he does not pass the Greek examination. He must, however, satisfactorily pass the Greek at some future Rhodes examination or else pass the "Responsions" Greek at Oxford before going into residence there.

The following examinations will be held today; at 10 o'clock, translation from Greek into English; at 10 o'clock, translation from Greek into English; at 2, Latin Grammar; at 3.10, Greek Grammar; at 5, Latin Grammar; at 3.10, Greek Grammar; at 5, Algebra and Geometry. The examinations will be held in Room 207 of the Administration Building.
