LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard

QUIET, PLEASE!

For years past the captains of the various athletic teams have found it necessary both in spring and fall to publish notices and communications in the CRIMSON requesting that there should be less noise on Mt. Auburn street and in the Yard at night. The great majority of undergraduates do not need to be told to behave themselves; it is only to those immature individuals who cannot enjoy themselves without boisterousness that this appeal is addressed.

The bed time for athletes is 10 o'clock. After this hour, all inquiries for those who have been favored with a glimpse of Kelly, and like musical performances, are most annoying to members of the football team. Add to these the second squad and the Freshman team, who are also trying to keep in condition partly by plenty of sleep, and it is clear that the athletes far outnumber the late-returning merry-makers. It is a slight demand to insist that these men do their small part in helping the team by keeping quiet on the streets at night.
