The Boston Symphony Orchestra will give the fourth of a series of eight concerst in Sanders Theatre under the direction of Max Fiedler this evening at 8 o'clock. Mr. Anton Witek will be the soloist. Tickets at $1 each may be obtained at Kent's University Book Store.
The program will be as follows: Brahms, "Academic Festival" Overture, op. 80; Dvcrak, Symphony No. 5, in E minor, "From the New World," op. 95: Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, in E minor, op. 64: Beethoven, Overture, "Leonora," No. 3. op. 72.
The dates for the remaining concerts are: February 9, March 2, March 30 and April 27.
