Field to Coach Yale Football Team

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

J. W. Field '11, of Washington, D. C., has been selected to coach the Yale football team next fall. Field won his "Y" in his sophomore year. Last fall he played right halfback on the Yale team.

The announcement of the choice for head coach has been delayed this year because Captain Daly has recently accepted the position of head coach of the Williams team for next year. Field has been ill with searlet fever, and for this reason the squad has not yet been called out for spring practice.
