At a meeting of the Faculty yesterday afternoon James Gordon Gilkey '12, of Watertown, was announced as the winner of the Sargent Prize of $100 "for the best metrical translation of a lyric poem of Horace" for the academic year 1910-11. The poem translated was the seventh ode of the third book of Horace.
