INTERCOLLEGIATES TOMORROW

VARSITY CROSS-COUNTRY TEAM AT ITHACA.--FRESHMEN IN ANDOVER MEET.

The University cross-country team left for Ithaca on the 11.15 train last night to compete in the annual intercollegiate cross-country run there tomorrow. They will arrive in Ithaca at 1.30 o'clock today, and will have a light work-out this afternoon in preparation for the 6-mile race at 10.30 o'clock tomorrow. They will stop at the Alpha Delta Phi House.

The men are all in excellent condition with the exception of Boyd, who has been troubled with a cold and a slightly strained tendon which he pulled last year. The following seven runners, together with Managers W. Tufts, Jr., '13, and C. G. Squibb '14, Coach Shrubb, and rubber Smith, left last night: F. H. Blackman '14, R. St.B. Boyd '14, B. S. Carter '15, F. W. Copeland '13, A. J. de Gozzaldi '14, H. P. Lawless '13, and H. G. MacLure '15.

Andover Invitation Run Today.

The Freshman team leaves at 12 o'clock today to run in the Andover invitation cross-country run. Among the teams which they will meet will be freshmen from Cornell, Dartmouth, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Yale, and Technology. The race will be at 2 o'clock over a 3 1-2 mile course. The following men will run: W. J. Bingham, W. R. Bullard, F. R. Devereux, K. E. Fuller, W. W. Kent, G. Lamont, E. MeC Peters. Trainer Caples and managers F. P. Clement, Jr., and E. Cunningham will accompany the team.

Last Consolation Run Yesterday.

The third consolation cross-country run held over a four-mile course from Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon was won by G. Whitehead '15. By winning this race Whitehead secures the University consolation cross-country cup offered for the best average in the three runs. He secured a third and a first place in the other two. R. Mead '15 and W. B. Nash '13 were second and third W. Mayger won the Freshman cup.
