The Dartmouth freshmen won the annual invitation cross-country run held at Andover yesterday afternoon, scoring 55 points to 67 and 68 for the Pennsylvania and Harvard freshmen respectively. H. S. Benson, of Technology, was the individual winner, covering the distance of 3 and 7-8 miles in 20 minutes, 53 and 1-5 seconds.
The Harvard Freshmen to score were F. R. Devereux, K. E. Fuller, E. McC. Peters, G. Lamont, and W. W. Kent, finishing in seventh, eighth, fifteenth, eighteenth, and twentieth places respectively. The positions and scores of the other teams were as follows: fourth place, Worcester Academy, 82; fifth place, Andover, 84; sixth place, Technology, 109. The Yale freshmen failed at the last moment to enter their team.
