Exciting Contest Won by Harvard.--Waterman Pitched Well.

The Harvard second team defeated Groton at Groton Saturday afternoon by the score of 3 to 2. The game was fast and well contested throughout. Waterman of the second team by striking out 13 men, as compared with four by Wilcox of Groton easily excelled his opponents, although each pitcher allowed four hits. Groton came very near tieing the score in the ninth but Waterman struck out Amory, the last man up, with two men on bases and thus prevented a score. HARVARD SECOND.  GROTON.
