Dr. Ernst von Dobschutz, Professor of the New Testament at the University of Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, will begin a course of lectures on "The Influence of the Bible on Civilization" at the Lowell Institute this evening at 8 o'clock, the title of this first lecture being "The Bible makes itself Indispensable for the Church (until 325 A.D.)." This course is to be given on Tuesday and Friday evenings during the next four weeks.
