HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
Today there will be well over two thousand men in the cheering section. In order to get these men together and show the team before it goes on the field that the undergraduates are behind it, a large parade will be organized to march to the field. About two thousand students took part in the demonstration last Thursday and with the addition of the graduates today, the sine of the parade should be greatly increased.
A band of forty pieces has been secured to lead the march. The classes will assemble in the Yard at 1.10 o'clock graduates in front of Hollis, Seniors in front of Stoughton, Juniors at Holworthy, Sophomores at Thayer, and Freshmen at University. Every graduate and undergraduate is earnestly requested to take advantage of this last opportunity to support the team.
