The Harvard-Yale Freshman cross-country meet, scheduled for November 8, has been cancelled. Although the Yale track authorities issued frequent calls for candidates and extra meetings of the freshman class were held to stir up enthusiasm in this branch of athletics, so few men responded and these reported so irregularly, only one man doing consistent work, that the meet had to be abandoned. The University dual cross-country run will be held on November 8 as scheduled.
