FAST SORIMMAGE YESTERDAY

University Hockey Team Defeated B. A. A. In Arena.--Score 4 to 1.--Superior Team-Work Displayed.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After the usual drill of the first and second forwards in fours against the regular defence, the University hockey team held a fast 20-minute scrimmage with the B. A. A. team in the Arena yesterday afternoon. Claflin was back in the game after an absence of two weeks, due to illness. He played right forward instead of at the defence as heretofore. The passing on both sides was good but the University men showed superior team-work and succeeded in defeating their opponents 4 to 1.

After playing the B. A. A. the first team held the second team to a scoreless tie in a 15-minute scrimmage, which was characterized by good defensive work, but inferior passing.
