The whole Freshman class has been invited by President Lowell to attend the 1916 meeting in New Lecture Hall this afternoon at 5 o'clock, when Dr. Frederick Cheever Shattuck '68, of Boston, will speak on "Medicine as a Career and Preparation in College Therefor," and Mr. Charles Allerton Coolidge '81, of Boston, on "Architecture as a Profession." The meeting, which is open only to Freshmen, will be of interest to all members of the class, whether or not they intend to study medicine or architecture.

This meeting will be the second one of the series arranged by President Lowell for the benefit of 1916. On April 10 President Lowell spoke on "Choice of Electives" and Dean Thayer on "Law as a Profession," both addresses being interesting and instructive.
