BASEBALL WITH COLBY AT 3

FELTON TO START IN BOX THIS AFTERNOON.--YESTERDAY'S PRACTICE LIGHT.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University baseball team will play Colby on Soldiers Field this afternoon. The game will begin at 3 o'clock, an hour earlier than the other mid-week games this year. Only one other game remains on the schedule before the series with Yale. The team will play Pennsylvania State College Saturday afternoon and Yale a week from tomorrow.

For the first time since the Cornell game at Ithaca on May 29 the University team will present its regular line-up as MacLaughlin has returned to second base. A new batting order will be tried this afternoon, with Simons in fourth place and Aronson in eighth. Hartford and Hicks will probably share the pitching, both today and Saturday. The former will start the game this afternoon. The practice yesterday and the day before went smoother than for some time and the team should be able to play its best game from now on.

Colby has not played the University team for a number of years. The team is not particularly strong this year, although the battery is good.

The batting orders: HARVARD.  COLBY. Lanigan, 3b.  s.s., Landers Harvey, c.f.  c., Carey Currier, c.  p., Good Simons, s.s.  c.f., Shaw MacLaughlin, 2b.  2b., Sturdevant Dana, l.f.  l.f., Mischaud Briggs, 1b.  1b., Nutting Aronson, r.f.  3b., Tibbits Hartford, Hicks, p.  r.f., Vail
