Warning for Athletic Writers

The following rule concerning writing by athletes is reprinted for the benefit of new students at the request of the Athletic Association.

The Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports voted last June that "hereafter no student shall write for publication signed articles about a team or crew or squad of which he is a member." This rule will not, however, apply to certain articles that may appear this fall for which permission has already been given, but in the future no man will be permitted to participate in college athletics who is lending his name to a paper or magazine for advertising purposes.
