The University association football team will play the first game on its schedule on Soldiers Field today at 4 o'clock, when it will meet the strong General Electric team of Lynn. As this is the first game of the season it should afford a good indication of the strength of the University squad, which, with only five of last year's men in the line-up is somewhat of an unknown quantity. From the number of new candidates out this fall, however, Captain Jennings hopes to develop a team which will come up to the standards of last year's inter-collegiate championship team.
The probable line-up of the University team in the game today follows: g., Nichols; l.f., J. Jennings; r.f., Priest; l.h.b., Moffat; c.h.b., O'Neill; r.h.b., D. F. Fenn, l.o.f., Weld; l.i.f., Blackmur; c.f., Baker, r.i.f., J. C. Jennings, (captain); r.o.f., Ricketson.
