Professor Pound Begins His Lowell Institute Series at 8-Reserved Seats for Course Only.

Professor Roscoe Pound, of the University Law School, will commence a series of lectures on "The Spirit of the Common Law" at the Lowell Institute, Huntington Hall, Boston, this evening at 8 o'clock, the series to consist of eight lectures coming on Mondays and Thursdays. The subject tonight will be "Feudal Law." Professor Pound graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1888, studied law at Harvard in 1889 and 1890, and returned to Nebraska to take the degree of Ph.D. in 1897. In 1910 he was called to a professorship in the University Law School.

"Mohammedanism" Continued.

Professor C. Snouck Hurgronje, of the University of Leyden, Holland, will give the second lecture of his series on "Mohammedanism" at the Lowell Institute this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The special topic this afternoon will be "Features Common to Mohammedanism and Modern Thought."

Concerning Reserved Seats.

Free admission tickets for these lectures may be obtained of the Curator, Huntington Hall, Boston. Before the first lecture of a series, an admission ticket may be exchanged at the door for a reserved seat ticket for the entire series.
