The Boston Harvard Club nine, composed of former University captains and players, defeated the Harvard second team Saturday afternoon in a loosely played game by the score of 9 to 3. Captain McLaughlin, of the 1909 team, pitched for the former collegians and held the second team batters to seven scattered hits, incidentally fanning 11. The features of the game were Safford's home run smash to left, and Phillips's catch of Minot's liner.
