Although the final figures are not yet available, and there are many fluctuations in the first few days, the first day's registration at Harvard College indicates a considerable increases in the number of students in the college, as compared with the first day's registration in 1913. The total number of students in Harvard College is 2417, against 2273 of last year.

The largest increase is in the Freshman class which in 1913 was 611, and this year is 684. It is felt that the Freshman dormitories have been largely responsible for the increased number of students.

As registration is allowed to continue for several days, the figures for the whole University are not available as yet.
