Seven innings of baseball, characterized by extremely loose playing by the Rovers yesterday afternoon resulted in their defeat by the Calumet Club, by the score of 8 to 0. Several substitutes were tried out during the game, Abbott and Coolidge being the only regulars who played. Two overthrows to first and Flaherty's triple scored three runs in the first inning, and several hits and errors in the sixth gave the visitors six more. Walsh struck out thirteen of the Rovers.
