Coach Shrubb Calls Track Men

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All men who intend to go out for the University and Freshman cross-country teams should report to Coach Shrubb at the Locker Building this afternoon at 3 o'clock. A talk by the coach will be followd by an easy run such as will be the order of the first week's preliminary work. Morning walks at 7.45 o'clock will start tomorrow, and the training table will begin next week.

A large squad is more than ordinarily requisite this year, owing to the large gaps left in the University team by graduations from 1915. Exceptional opportunities are offered to new men, and this inducement, coupled with the chance to get a grounding in track work under such a noted middle-distance runner as Coach Shrubb, should draw out a large number of candidates today.
