RECEPTIONS TO BEGIN TONIGHT

St. Paul's Society and Business School Club Receive

The various annual receptions of the University will begin this evening when the St. Paul's Society will hold an open reception in Christ Church Parish House, Garden street at 7.45 o'clock and the Business School Club, and Business Alumni Association will receive in Lawrence 3 at 7.30 o'clock. Dean Rousmaniere '83, Dr. Drury '01, of St. Paul's School, Professor Bliss Perry, and R. L. Gifford '16, will address the first of these gatherings, and there will be informal speaking, and music at the other. Refreshments will be on the program at both places.

Tomorrow night at 8 o'clock the University will hold a meeting for the reception of new students in the Living Room of the Union. Dean Briggs will preside, and the speakers will be Dean Hurlburt, Reverend George A. Gordon, and several undergraduates not yet selected.

The class of 1919 will be the guest at the Phillips Brooks House reception on Wednesday at 8 o'clock. Prominent undergraduates will speak, and the University Glee Club will sing.

Professor A. C. Coolidge '87 will be the chief speaker at the reception to students in the Graduate Schools of Arts and Science, Applied Science and Business Administration in the Living Room of the Union, Friday at 8 o'clock. There will also be several brief speeches. An additional reception to students in the Graduate School of Business Administration will be held in the Trophy Room of the Union, Saturday at 8 o'clock.

Three receptions are scheduled to take place at Phillips Brooks House next week: the Christian Science Society on October 4, the Law School Society on October 7, and the Graduate Society on October 8.
