The Freshman eleven will meet the University School of Cleveland team on Soldiers Field this afternoon, after the first half of the Princeton game. This is the first time that any University Freshman team has ever met an eleven of the Cleveland School and a fairly hard game is looked for. In case the visitors prove easier than is expected, a list of substitutes will be put in, and the regulars saved for the more important game with the Yale freshmen next Saturday.
The University School has lost two of the six games they have had this season, but in the others have been very successful. They lost to Central High 7 to 13, and to East High 0 to 20 and defeated Cleveland Heights 12 to 0, Spencerian Business College 19 to 9, Geneva 26 to 13 and Lakewood High 7 to 6.
The Freshmen dropped the first game of the season to Andover 7 to 10, but in the rest of the season defeated Technology freshmen 6 to 0 in a practice game, Lowell Textile 53 to 0 and Exeter 21 to 20. Captain Church is the mainstay of the team and his punts average very nearly 50 yards.
