The attempt to revive any of Shakspere's plays invariably presents to the modern dramatic producer numerous obstacles, such as scenery, metre, and language. The revival of "Henry IV, Part II," by the Delta Upsilon is especially a feat, for in addition to all of these difficulties. That the existence of these obstacles has been fully realized is evident from the fact that for almost a century no attempt has been made to produce it in America. Particularly appropriate is this selection in that it represents the first step in the Harvard celebration of the Slinkspere tercentenary.
