INDOOR TOURNAMENT THURSDAY

Four University Tennis Players Will Compete at Longwood.

Four University tennis players will take part in the Third Annual Invitation Tournament for the Longwood Covered Courts Trophy in Singles which will be held at Chestnut Hill, beginning next Thursday. These four players are G. C. Caner '17, H. G. M. Kelleher '18, J. S. Pfaffmann '16, and R. N. Williams, 2d, '16. Preliminary matches will be played on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday so that the finals may be played on Sunday afternoon.

The trophy was won by N. W. Niles '09, in 1914, and by R. N. Williams, 2d, '16, in 1915.

In addition to the four University players the following competitors have accepted the invitation and will participate: G. P. Gardner, Jr., '10, Massachusetts State Champion in 1915; N. W. Niles '09, Massachusetts State Champion 1911-12-13-14; H. C. Johnson, I. C. Wright, A. S. Dabney '09, J. D. E. Jones, and H. A. MacKinney.

This tournament will be open to the public without charge for admission or seats.
