Cabot and Talcott Changed Places in First Boat Yesterday.

The University crews had an excellent work-out over the course at Lynn yesterday. The water was very smooth, and both A and B rowed from the Farragut Boat Club to Nahant and back. One important change has been made in University A, for H. B. Cabot, Jr., '17 and J. Talcott, Jr., '16 have changed places, the former now rowing at 3 and the latter at 7.

Freshman managers were at work yesterday in clearing the Charles River office, and considerable progress was made. Tugs broke up the ice a few days ago, and the crews will in all probability be out on the water the last of this week.

Arnold Appointed Manager.

David Bullard Arnold '18, of Boston, was appointed second assistant crew manager at a meeting of the Student Council last evening, subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee.
