Trials for the University golf team will begin at the Oakley Country Club on Monday and will continue throughout the week. There will be a cut just before vacation and another May 1, when about ten men will be retained.
During the trials men not members of Oakley will be required to pay $1 per day. The ten men finally retained will be given all privileges of the course, except that of introducing friends, for the rest of the college year upon payment of $15.
Blue-books have been placed in Leavitt & Peirce's, and all candidates must sign up at once. Freshmen may play on the University team in all matches except those with other colleges.
