PHOTOGRAPHIC WORK COMMENCES.

Illustrated to Start Competition Open to 1919, 1920, and 1921.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The photographic competition of the Illustrated, open to Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors, starts today. Candidates should report at the Illustrated Office, 1246 Massachusetts Avenue, at 7.45 o'clock. Elections to the photographic board are made on the basis of the number of photographs published during the competition, which lasts about twelve weeks. No previous experience is necessary in this competition as the candidates will be provided with cameras and will have the use of the dark room. The work will consist of taking pictures of the various activities in the University and objects which are of interest during the year.

The increase in the size of the issues which calls for a larger staff, and the fact that the board is already small because of the war, offer an excellent opportunity to new men.

Business candidates wishing to report now will not be seriously handicapped. A competition for the editorial board will commence in a few days.
