NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Harvard Aeronautical Society announces the election of the following officers for the year 1917-18: President, David Gregg '18, of Brookline; secretary-treasurer, William Halsall Cheney '20, of Peterboro, N. H.; member of executive committee, Thomas Dudley Cabot '19, of Cambridge. E. P. Warner '16, now at M. I. T., and president of the University society in 1914-15, has just been elected president of the new Technology Aero Club.

The two clubs are planning to co-operate in securing speakers and instruction in aeronautical subjects. An engine has been promised by the Government to the Tech. club, and it is due to arrive some time soon. With this engine as a working model practical instruction will be given on aeronautical machines. Both clubs are to secure speakers; the addresses at Tech. will be of a practical nature, while those to be given at the University will be of the more popular sort, and will be given by well-known pilots and constructors.
