Of the ten ranking cadets who will graduate today from the Officers' Material School, six are former members of the University. W. P. Palmer 18 is the representative highest on the list, standing third in the graduating class of 128. Next to Palmer is W. M. Silverman '18, holding fourth place. R. H. Bond '19, R. Kingsbury '19, D. J. McKenzie '18, and W. T. Wright '16 hold respectively the fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth positions.
The other University men in order of their ratings are as follows: 15, P. L. Cohn '12; 19, J. J. Robinson L. '18; 20, F. T. Doyle L. '16; 27, J. I. Nesson '19; 28, B. N. Lovgren A.M. '17; 39, R. S. Barrow uL.; 42, J. M. Connolly '17; 51, C. F. Weden '20; 66, M. W. Grady '19; 69, Harry Hoffman '18; 72, R. E. Foley L. '18; 78, Norcross Teel '20; 86, W. H. Mitchell '19; 88, R. A. FitzGerald '13; 91, E. S. Nelson '17; 112, D. E. Gardner '20.
The graduation exercises will be held in Sanders Theatre this afternoon at 3 o'clock. There will be addresses by Captain P. W. Hourigan, U. S. N., Commandant of the School, and Rear-Admiral Spencer S. Wood, U. S. N. The Radio School Band will furnish music. Admission to the exercises will be by ticket only. It is expected that all of these new ensigns will immediately be put on the inactive list instead of being assigned to sea duty.
