ANNUAL DINNER IN UNION

Phillips Brooks House Meeting Tonight Does Not Conflict With '22 Smoker.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The annual dinner and business meeting of the Phillips Brooks House Association will be held in the private dining room on the second floor of the Union at 6 o'clock this evening. All members of the University are invited to attend, but should notify the Association before noon today if they are coming, in order that places may be reserved. Arthur Beane '11, who was graduate secretary from 1911 to 1918 and who is now a member of the graduate advisory committee of the Phillips Brooks House Association, will preside at the meeting.

Notice is called to all Freshmen that by accepting the invitation to the Phillips Brooks House dinner this evening they will not miss the 1922 Smoker. The dinner will begin promptly at 6 o'clock and is scheduled to be over at eight. The Freshman class officers have accepted and the Committee urges that others of the class who were invited will come, even if they have refused.

The new officers, who are D. C. Hawkins '20, president; E. A. McCouch '20, vice-president; P. Hofer '21, treasurer; E. C. Storrow '21, secretary; and E. L. Peirson '21, librarian; will officially take office. The old board, consisting of J. G. Coolidge '20, president; D. C. Hawkins '20, treasurer; E. A. McCouch '20, secretary; and J. M. Steele '21, librarian; will retire.

After the dinner, reports will be read by the president, treasurer, librarian, the presidents of constituent societies, and the chairmen of the standing committees. These will include reports from the Harvard University Christian Association, St. Paul's Society, St. Paul's Catholic Club, Social Service Committee, the Harvard Mission, Chapel Committee, the Graduate Schools Society, and the Medical and Law School Societies.
