1922 FACES TECH. FRESHMEN

TEAM ENTERS SIXTH CONTEST WITH FOUR VICTORIES ON RECORD.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This afternoon the 1922 nine will meet the M. I. T. Freshmen at Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock, in their fifth game of the season. J. R. Meehan will be in the box for the yearling nine. He is one of the most promising of the Freshman pitchers, and held the University to five hits in last Tuesday's game.

Coach Shay will make no changes in the line-up of his team, as the men have been working very well together this spring, and there is no need to risk a shake-up. With victories over Watertown, Cambridge Latin School, Groton, and Dean, and a 4 to 4 tie with Andover, the 1922 nine promises to develop into a powerful combination.

Technology Team Lost to Exeter.

The M. I. T. 1922 team comes with a record of only one game, which was a severe defeat at the hands of the Exeter nine. Since this early contest, the visiting nine has showed a decided improvement in practice.
