TRACK SQUAD SWELLED BY 25--STILL MORE MEN WANTED

Practice in Elementary Track Work in Session Yesterday Afternoon

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Farrell put the track candidates through the first stiff practice of the season yesterday afternoon. Twenty-five new aspirants put in their appearance and swelled the fall track squad to the largest and most promising in several years.

The practice consisted in starts and stops, instruction as to the proper use of the arms and Jogs, and in laps around the track. The distance men ran several laps at a slow pace, while the sprinters, made faster time with occasional long dashes.

Coach Farrell is well pleased with his squad but still wants more men. No experience is required, and individual attention will be given each candidate. There will be several meets this fall and the work will be valuable for next spring's season. Freshmen are particularly urged to report.
