Upon totaling up the subscriptions to the Endowment Fund of those undergraduates of the University living outside of the College dormitories, the following results were obtained last night: Class of 1921,  $590.25 Class of 1922,  899.25 Class of 1923,  1086.00 Class of 1924,  321.00 Total,  $2896.50

Considering that the total for the whole drive is over $60,000, this small sum of $2896.50 shows that the non-resident undergraduates are far behind. This is due to the fact that the Endowment Committee finds it very difficult to get in touch with men not living in Cambridge. In spite of the fact that many are reached by telephone and promise to come in to the Crimson Building office to subscribe, very few actually appear, which necessitates telephoning again.

The following statement was issued from the Endowment Fund office last night: "Next Wednesday vacation begins and, in order that the drive may not have to continue after Christmas, it is earnestly hoped that all members of the College who have not yet enrolled will do so at once. The committee cannot end the drive till each undergraduate member of College has been approached in some way. Some men do not realize that if they have not ready cash, it is possible to pledge money, the payment of which is not due till some months hence. If a man cannot pledge a lot, he should pledge a little so that we can tell the graduates we have obtained a 100 percent subscription.
