NEW HAVENS, CONN., October 12. Yale football, practice this week has been featured by the return of O'Hearn, last fall's star Freshman quarterback, to active playing. O'Hearn has been on the sick list since the opening days of gridiron work this fall. He has been guiding the first eleven in practice scrimmages this week and has displayed excellent ability. He showed up especially well in Tuesday's practice game when he piloted Team A to three touchdowns against the scrubs, making several long runs himself.
Other Eli players who have just made their return from the injured squad are Batty and Quaile, who play guard and tackle respectively. In today's scrimmage Cutter, who started at wing against the Crimson last fall, was slightly hurt.
