NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Yale football team which will start against the University this afternoon will have practically no advantage in weight over its opponents, according to a comparison of the statistics of the probable line-ups. The University team average is 182 to Yale's 183, although its backfield and ends outweigh the Elis. The Blue line outweighs the Fishermen by 189 pounds to 185, and from tackle to tackle, the difference in favor of Yale is 195 to 188. On the other hand the Crimson ends outweigh the Yale ends by the difference of 177 to 173. In the backfield, also, the University has the advantage, the figures being 176 to 173. Yale has a heavier second string than the University; while the first string elevens are almost equal in weight, the average weight of the entire Blue squad is six pounds more than that of the Crimson squad, the weights being 182 to 176. The average height of the University team is one-sixth of an inch more than the Yale team and the average age is four months more than that of the Elis, the figures being 5 feet 11 2-3 inches to 5 feet 11 1-2 inches, and 21 years 4 months to 21 years.
