CLASS AND UNIVERSITY CREWS ORGANIZED TODAY

MORE MANAGERS NEEDED

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All candidates for the University and class crews will meet this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the "Varsity Room" in Newell boathouse. Coach Bill Haines and Captain McCagg will speak to them, outlining the plans and policy to be pursued this season. The meeting will be short so as to allow two University crews to begin rowing in the tank this afternoon.

The University management is now trying to arrange a triangular race between the University, Princeton and Annapolis, for both the University and Freshman crews, to be held on May 7th at Princeton. This date can not be considered definite at present because the "Middie" crew must secure the consent of the Navy Department at Washington before they can race away from Annapolis.

The date for the annual Harvard Invitation regatta has been tentatively set at May 25th. Unless there is a change in plans this yearly event in which chiefly schoolboy crews are entered will last till the evening of Saturday, May 28th.

More Manager Candidates Wanted

So far, 14 men have reported for the Freshman crew manager competition and consequently it has been decided to allow men to enter this competition any time before 7.30 this evening. Men wishing to do so may report to the University crew manager at 32 Beck at 7 o'clock or to any of the managers at the boathouse during the afternoon and they will receive instructions. This late entry will not handicap them in any way in the competition.
