On Monday, April 4, the test tennis matches to decide who will make the southern trip, will start on the Divinity courts which have been reserved for the University squad. Twenty men have been playing on the Longwood covered courts during the winter.
This season a regular second university team will be organized on a definite working basis. Immediately after the southern trip a captain will be a appointed and a minimum of twelve regular matches will be played. The first team already has a schedule of twenty-five matches arranged. With Captain L. A. de Turenne '21 and J. B. Fenno Jr. '21 of last year's University team and Morris Duane '23 captain of the 1923 Freshman team, the prospects for a successful season seem good.
