Harvard Law School Students Pass Referendum Urging University To Divest From Israel
Fifteen years ago the University of Vermont held Dartmouth to a scoreless tie. A week later Dartmouth defeated Harvard 22 to 0. Last week Dartmouth played the University of Vermont and was beaten 6 to 3. Today,--the parallel is obvious at least in the minds of the two thousand odd undergraduates from Hanover who are here to see the game.
"We are going down to Cambridge, not to go through the motions, but to win!" This was the prediction of Coach Cannell, and the Dartmouth team and the crowd of students who listened to him are determined to make it come true.
The University is far from under-estimating this spirit. Every regular who is able to play will be in the lineup to welcome Dartmouth to the Stadium after then years' absence, and no effort has been spared to meet one of the hardest games of the year.
Dartniyt has "come to win" the University has different ideas on the subject, and again it is the team and the spirit of the team which, above all else, will count.
