Speaking on "Drama as a Social Force" before a large audience in the 47 Workshop yesterday evening, Mr. L. K. Anspacher gave several examples to illustrate his point. He represented drama as a consistently contemporary art, dealing always with live issues, and gave many instances of plays dealing with important events which followed within a year of the events themselves.
