In the first important home match of the season, the University fencing team will meet Dartmouth at 3 o'clock this afternoon In Hemenway Gymnasium. The visitors with two veterans in the line-up are expected to furnish the stiffest kind of opposition, but the University with its remarkable record of three shut-outs is the ruling favorite.
Captain Burke Boyce '22, the only Crimson veteran, together with E. H. Lane '24 and E. L. Lane '24 will compose the foll squad for the University. J. K. Watson '23 and J. S. Barss '22 will use the duelling swords. Captain Hertsberg, Liao, Chapman, and Cook will compete for Dartmouth.
This will be the fifth time that the rival captains will meet. As each has won two matches, today's contest will be of unusual significance.
