The consolation wrestling tournament being held at Hemenway advanced another round yesterday afternoon when T. S. Whitman '23 and T. W. Hoag '25 were declared the winners in the 135 and 175-pound classes respectively.
In the semi-finals of the 145-pound class R. J. Lowe '24 won over E. F. Porter 2E.S., and in the 158-pound class G. M. Kendall '24 won over H. H. Fuller '23. O. H. Emerson '22, who was to meet Fuller, was over weight. If he can train down in time, he will wrestle Fuller this afternoon at 5 o'clock. At the same hour R. J. Lowe '24 will meet George Karelitz '24 in the finals of the 145-pound class.
The results of yesterday's matches were as follows:
135-Pound Class (Finals).--T. S. Whitman '23 defeated Morris Michelson '24 by a time decision of one minute and 40 seconds.
145-Pound Class (Semi-Finals).--R. J. Lowe '24 won over E. F. Porter 2E.S. by a time decision of eight minutes and 30 seconds.
158-Pound Class (Semi-Finals).--G. M. Kendall '24 won over H. H. Fuller '23 by a time decision of four minutes and one second.
175-Pound Class (Finals).--T. W. Hoag '25 won over C. L. Abernethy '22 by a 14-second time advantage in the fourth overtime period.
