At the opening meeting of the Graduate Schools Society of Phillips Brooks House held yesterday afternoon in the parlor of Brooks House the Reverend Abraham M. Rihbany, Pastor of the Church of Disciples in Boston, spoke on "The Near East--Yesterday and Today". Mr. Rihbany outlined present conditions in the Near East and pointed out the changes which have taken place there in recent years.

In addition C. D. Whidden '23, President of the University Glee Club, gave a short song program.
