The first cut in the Freshman football squad was made yesterday afternoon when seventy-five out of the hundred and seventeen men originally reporting were picked by Coach W. B. Snow '18 to remain. The others will play on the dormitory teams.
No tentative eleven for the coming game with Worcester Academy has as yet been picked, but it is understood that most of the positions are already filled.
At the beginning of practice yesterday a short dummy scrimmage was held, followed by work with the dummies, kicking punts, and the receiving of long forwards. There was no regular scrimmage.
