At the request of some of the members of the Faculty Mr. Potter of the Boston Elevated Company, who' has charge of the Harvard Square Terminal, has announced that several plans for improving the service at Harvard Square will be tried for the benefit of the students and Faculty of the University.
The subway entrance at the corner of Holyoke street which has been open only from 7 to 9.30 o'clock in the morning will now be open every afternoon and evening from 4 to 8 o'clock for the use of students desiring to go to Boston after classes and in the evening. This is entirely an experiment and the entrance will be closed if not enough students make use of the opportunity.
