SOCCER MEN PENETRATE CHINESE GOAL 3 TIMES

Scoring three goals in the final period the University soccer team captured a 3-0 victory from the Chinese Students of Greater Boston team yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field. Lamont, playing at inside right, proved the outstanding star of the game, scoring two clever shots, the first from scrimmage in the first few minutes of the second half. The second came a short time later, when he repeated his performance of the Northeastern game by heading in a corner kick. The third goal was scored by Dorman from scrimmage.

The Chinese Students made a determined rally in the closing minutes of the second half, but were unable to penetrate the Crimson defense. Their kicking ability was more than offset by the aggressive team-play of the Crimson eleven, which showed improvement over its work in this respect during the Northeastern game.
