Superior team-work and more accurate shooting won a close game for the 1926 basketball team from the New Hampshire State Freshmen yesterday afternoon in the Freshman Athletic Building. The final score was 34-29.

The visitors jumped away to a five point lead in the first three minutes of play, but the Crimson men tied the score and had gained a 23-18 lead at half time. The home team increased its early lead in the second period, only to have its opponents make a final spurt which came near tying the score.

Smith was outstanding both in playing and scoring. His individual record included seven baskets and six goals on fouls, making his total 20 points.
