PHI BETA KAPPA TO OPEN FREE TUTORING BUREAU

Will Hold Office Hours Daily Except Saturday in Crimson Building--All Tutoring Will Be General

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

During the remainder of the year, the Phi Beta Kappa Tutoring Bureau will hold office hours in the president's office of the CRIMSON daily except Saturdays, from 5 to 6 o'clock, beginning today. The service is entirely voluntary on the part of the members of the society and is given without charge to any who wish it.

The aim of the Bureau is not to give actual tutoring in special courses, but to aid men who are having difficulty in their work by advice about reading, taking notes, and in the general arrangement and handling of courses.

Each person who applies to the bureau for help will be assigned to a member qualified to help him in the particular field of study with which he is having difficulty. Consultations will then be arranged as often as the advisor thinks desirable. If it is believed that the student needs detailed tutoring in a specific course, a professional tutor will be recommended.
