SECONDS TO FAVE MILTON

With its line-up greatly strengthened by new material, the University second baseball team will face the experienced Milton nine at 4 o'clock this afternoon on Soldiers Field. Since the Crimson defeated Huntington last Friday, 8 to 3, the nine has only had light practice. L. O. V. Mann '25, who played at short-stop with the Freshmen last year, came out yesterday for the first time this season. Although he will not start today's contest, it is probable that he will be given a chance during the contest to show his worth.

Milton Has Lost Only One Game

Milton has had a remarkably successful record so far, having lost only one game, that with Moses Brown on April 3. Most of the preparatory schools around Boston have suffered defeat at its hands. In the last two games, Milton has shown its power in decisive fashion by winning over St. Mark's and Milton High School. With all but Sullivan letter men, the team is very steady and has the ability to come though in pinches. Sullivan has shown himself equal to his teammates by making four average on the team, and has fielded reliably at short.

The Huntington game was the one contest in which Milton did not show up well, for it only managed to pull the game out by the narrow margin of 7 to 6. This was early in the season, however, and since that time the team has settled down into a most effective style of play.
